The Faculty of Medicine’s MD Undergraduate Program is committed to increasing opportunities for Aboriginal* students. The Aboriginal admission process for the MD Undergraduate Program has a target of 5% of the annual complement of funded seats in the first year class. Unused seats are returned back to the general pool. Aboriginal applicants can apply either through the regular stream of admissions or through the Aboriginal admissions stream. Applicants who self-identify as Aboriginal will be considered under the Aboriginal admissions process as well as under the regular admissions process.
